“The Balance of Speed & Precision”
In this event, you will learn how you can apply defense concepts and develop realistic defensive shooting skills. You have the opportunity to take notes on these concepts and run Balance of Speed & Precision drills.
The Balance of Speed & Precision is one of the biggest concepts of our training program with many components to include the following:
What is Kinesthetic Alignment and why it is important.
Defining Defensive Accuracy.
Multiple Shot String of Fire and how we operate the trigger.
The Concept of The Balance of Speed & Precision.
The 3 Fundamentals of The Balance of Speed & Precision.
The 4 Factors of The Balance of Speed & Precision.
Deviation and Deviation Control.
Intuitive Sighted Fire.
In this event, you will learn how to develop your own Balance of Speed & Precision by training frequently and realistically at different distances.
The first portion of this event, our WDN Instructors will be going over these concepts in a classroom setting on the range. The Live-Fire portion of this event will immediately follow.
What to bring:
Bring at least 200 rounds of ammunition.
At least one reliable handgun. We recommend a full frame or compact 9mm semi-auto or similar. If you are running a double stack magazines, you will get more repetitions of the Balance of Speed & Precision drills and less repetitions of reloading.
Bring at least 2 magazines. If you have more, bring them.
Eye and Ear Protection.
Water, Snacks or anything else you may need to keep yourself comfortable.
NOTE: Gun Rentals are available for $15 to anyone who many need a firearm or would like to try something else.
WDN Members $25.
FIRST TIME VISITORS: (This event is normally $50 if you are NOT a WDN Member. FIRST TIME Visitors will be offered a One-Time guest Tuition of $25 like our WDN Members.
